The sad short story of our tiny car

4 Feb

Once upon a time, a loving couple adopted a tiny black car. The car war very happy. It saw all the world. Or at least that is what it felt like for the car. It saw Berlin, Leipzig and Amsterdam, among other places.

Unfortunately, good things do not last. And hence our car appears to have transformed back into a pumpkin. Bummer.

** UPDATE **

By now I think we are cursed. Okay, not really. But yesterday I needed to get something out of Richard’s closet, and the door attacked me. Suddenly I was standing with a giant piece of wood in my hand. Thank the gods I have good reflexes. I messaged him to let him know his closet was being mean to me, and he replied, “I better not touch you tonight, it seems everything I use breaks.” ^^

** UPDATE 2 **

The good thing is that most of the repairs for the car may be covered by the used-car warranty. We just have to get it back to where it was bought, about 600km north of here. And of course this will all take a few weeks. But we’re not giving up.

It may be that we are lucky after all. Most of the repair seems to fall under the used car warranty. We just have to get it back to the one who sold it to us – 600km north.
